Una candida tag invernale / White Winter tag

Ok, d'accordo che siamo a gennaio, però il freddo sembra non voler mollare. Sulla scia della card che avete visto in questo post, ho deciso di preparare una tag a tema invernale, con una candida poinsettia imbiancata.

Ok, I understand it's Winter, but the cold is really annoying. Saying that, and to fight the cold, I followed the theme in this post and I made a Winter tag with a white poinsettia, with shimmering snow crystals.

Sciarpa a zig zag ai ferri / Zig zag knitted scarf

Da tantissimo tempo non pubblico un lavoro a maglia e il Natale è stata l'occasione giusta per tornare a sferruzzare. Quella che vedete qui è una sciarpa Zig Zag che ho realizzato per mia suocera utilizzando 2 gomitoli da 100 gr di Crazy Zauberball di Schoppel wolle nei colori Submarine Boat e Pesce Tropicale. Ho usato i ferri 3.5 e sono partita con 86 maglie (2 di vivagno). La dimensione totale della sciarpa è 174 x 26 cm.

I haven't post a knitting project for quite some time now, and Christmas was the perfect occasion to go back to this beautiful hobby of mine. I made a Zig Zag scarf for my mother in law with two 100 gr balls of Schoppel wolle Crazy Zauberball in the following colors: Submarine boat and Tropical fish.

I used 3.5 needles and I started with 86 stitches. The scarf final dimension was 174 x 26 cm.

Capibara innamorati / Capybaras in love

Passato il Natale, eccoci pronti a festeggiare S.Valentino, questa volta in compagnia dei due dolcissimi capibara protagonisti della nuova release di Impronte d'Autore, che uscirà ufficialmente venerdì! In questa tag ho combinato il set di timbri con altri set e fustelle per creare una romantica scenetta.

Christmas is gone! Let's get ready for Valentine's day! Behold the cutest couple of capybaras ever seen! They are from the new Impronte d'Autore release. In this heart tag I combined the new stamp set with other stamps and dies to create a romantic scene.

Un tuffo nella neve / A dive in the snow

In questi giorni molte regioni d'Italia sono imbiancate, ma non quella in cui vivo. Per quanto io non ami particolarmente il freddo, devo ammettere che invidio molto questo panda che si tuffa a volo d'angelo sulla neve!

In these days some Italian regions are covered in white, but not mine. However I'm not a fun of Winter, I'm envying this little panda having a dive in the snow!

Card per gli 80 anni / 80 years birthday card

Ho aspettato un po' a condividere questa card per non rovinare la sorpresa a mia suocera, che mi segue sui social ed è arrivata a questo traguardo importante. Mi sono ispirata ad una card creata da Tina in questo video.

Per realizzare il calice all'interno della card ho utilizzato il set di fustelle Cin cin, sovrapponendo la parte alta di un bicchiere alla base di un altro, usando la tecnica della fustellata parziale.

I waited before sharing this card because I didn't want to spoil anything to my mother in law; not only she is reaching a very important goal, but she is also a regular follower of my socials. The card was inspired by Tina's tutorial: you can find the video here.

I used the die set Cin cin to make the chalice, mixing two different dies by using the partial die cutting technique.

Poinsettia bianca / White poinsettia

La regina dell'inverno è senza dubbio la Poinsettia e per questa card ho pensato ad una versione in bianco decorata con i fiori in vellum, impreziositi da glitter e paillette.

Per dare risalto alle nervature delle foglie, le ho ripassate con la penna gel bianca.

The Poinsettia is the Winter queen and I cut these flowers in vellum and put them on this white card, embellished with glitter and sequins. I used the white gel pen to enhance the leaf veins.

Non sono tipo da tirare le somme alla fine dell'anno, però è divertente vedere quali sono i progetti che vi sono piaciuti di più. E sono contenta mi seguiate sempre con tanto affetto. Quando poi vedo replicati da voi alcuni dei miei progetti, ne sono davvero felice!

Tag vintage invernale / Winter vintage tag

Ora che ho consegnato il pacchetto alla destinataria, posso mostrarvi questa tag un po' mixed media che ho preparato per Natale proprio pensando a lei e ai suoi gusti. Quest'anno ho preparato pochissime card, complice anche il fatto che alcuni destinatari che abitualmente sono all'estero passeranno le feste in Italia, e quindi mi sono limitata a delle tag chiudipacco. Per questa ho utilizzato dei prodotti di aziende diverse, alcuni datati ed altri più recenti, ma che mi sembra stiano bene insieme. Li trovate tutti linkati in calce al post.

Now that the Christmas parcel to my friend has been delivered, I can show you this mixed-media tag I made thinking of her. This season I made very few cards, because some of the recipients who live abroad this year will spend Christmas time in Italy and I made some tags for them. For this one I used products by different brands, some new and some old: you can find them at the end of the post.
